On August 2011, the jury of the 11th Silken Photo Award, has selected the photo series of Filip Santens as winner of the Silken Photo Award.
Since the beginning of the vote, this series has caught the attention of the jury by its originality, by the high quality of the pictures, for the freshness and brightness of the subject, the unity and harmony of colors and the high quality of execution.
The wining pictures are already decorating one entire floor of the hotel! It zill be a permanent recognition.
The exhibition of Mr. Santens started the 16th of February 2012.
The winner of the 10th Silken Photo Award was Lucille FEREMANS
With her series: "VELATA"
On September 09th, the jury of the 10th Silken Photo Award, has selected
the photo series of Lucille Feremans as winner of the Silken Photo Award.
She is the first winner of our NEW concept of contest:
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the “Silken Photo Award”,
before known as the "Silken PhotoPlate Award",
the Hotel Silken Berlaymont has changed the final destination of the winning photos.
The winner of this contest will also be awarded, but to decorate the doors of one entire floor of the hotel! It will be a permanent recognition.
The exhibition of Mrs. Feremans will starts the 09th of December 2010.
