As from now, come to visit our Zoom Gallery with its new exhibition by FEP, European Professional Photographer:

The "FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year Awards", is open since 2008 to all professional photographers who are registered and resident in a European country. There are six categories: WEDDING; COMMERCIAL; PORTRAIT; REPORTAGE; LANDSCAPE; ILLUSTRATIVE. Special sections are also open for international photographers, not residents in a European country and for European Young Photographers and Students. The aim of this competition is to help promote the photographic profession and to raise the level of professional standards.

The winners of the 6 categories and the 2 special sections are presented as the FEP European Golden, Silver and Bronze Cameras 2011. From amongst the 6 winners of the 6 categories, the overall winner is presented as the FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year 2011.

On December 09th we have the pleasure to celebrate the opening of the exhibition of Lucille Feremans, the winner of the 10th Silken Photo Award.

Come and admire her wonderful photo series "VELATA". As from now, her pictures also decorate the doors of one entire Room Floor of the Hotel Silken Berlaymont****!!!

As from September until December 2010 we welcome a new exhibition in our Zoom Gallery.

This time, the theme is about fashion photography.

You will admire some panoramic views of the most beautiful glaciers of Europe in black and white pictures.

"Photgraphy has the power to transform, to tell a story, to give a subjective opinion..."That is the point of view of Patrick van Roy who is making his exhibition in our Zoom Galley.

As winner of the photoplate award 2009 with the serie "fleur de mon jardin", she gained and exhibition in our Zoom Gallery.

Yesterday was a very special day for our hotel.

The winning series of photographic images by Michael Chia, Happy Rain, who won the annual photo contest of the hotel Silken Berlaymont Brussels, the "Silken Photoplate Award 2008, were officially presented to the public.  Press, invitees and participants of the contest were present to discover the new Silken Photoplates.

The plates, produced by Villeroy&Boch, will decorated the table of our restaurant "L'Objectif", during the whole year of 2008. 

As of today, the Silken Photoplates 2007, by Michèle Francken - Beauty of Nature, are for sale! She won the annual photocontest of the hotel Silken Berlaymont Brussels.

Yesterday, September 13th, a jury of professionals selected the photo series of Michael Chia as winning series of the "Silken Photoplate Award 2008".

These 6 pictures, Happy Rain, will be reproduced on the famous Silken Photoplates and used during the whole year of 2008 in the restaurant of the hotel Silken Berlaymont Brussels, "L'Objectif".

Congratulations from the whole team of Silken Berlaymont Brussels to Michael Chia.

 

The hotel Silken Berlaymont Brussels shows until the end of this year 2007, a Green exhibition in their "Zoom Gallery".

This in order to share its willingness ot protect the environment.
